New movie that came out just yesterday around here, starring Colm Feore and Patrick Huard. Bilingual movie about two cops working on a murder at the Quebec-Ontario border and teaming up to find the killer.
I was wondering ... is that movie out in theatres outside Quebec? Like, as an english version (with subtitles when they speak french instead of the other way around)? Because even if it's bilingual, it's clearly mostly french.
If you have the chance to see it, it's awesome. <3

There was a trailer for it attached to the Clerks 2 movie. I don't know if it will come to our theatre (probably not), but I want to see it so bad! It looks awesome.
For the record, they presented it as if it were an English movie, and subtitled the parts of the trailer that were spoken in French.

Then that's probably what they'll do. When they say the movie is bilingual, they're not joking. Half of it is really english. XD
I think they'll release it, then. They wouldn't have made a trailer if they didn't have plans for it, eh?
It doesn't just look awesome, it's the fucking best movie I've ever seen. Got me crying laughing a few times. Patrick and Colm are beyond words. The movie's even funnier for someone who is fully bilingual, too. XD
It was kinda confusing to switch between english and french all the time so fast, though. Ended up relying on the subtitles even if I didn't want to. @_@;;
I wish I had money. I wanna see it again! D=

Damn. That actually sounds like a pretty cool film.... which means it probably won't be playing here.

Hmm, I have a feeling if I don't see it anytime soon, you'll make me see it later~. Which is fine because Colm Feore is like, wonderfully creepy. I'll always remember him as Andre Linoge in "Stephen King's Storm of the Century".
Anyway, I'll keep a look out for it. =D

It probably won't come out in the States. It's -really- Canadian. Like, wow.
PS: Confirmed, there's an english version. It's out in theatres around here, too. Dunno for the rest of Canada.

I want to finish up school and get over to Toronto as soon as effing possible. Has anyone else seen this one French film called 'French Twist'? It's pretty good and quite funny once you get over the 'OMG LESBIAN KISSING' bit.... but somehow I think no one on this forum would have much of a problem with that

have you seen an english movie called Moulin Rouge? Ewan McGregor is perfect in that role, next to Bubbles, naturally.
