I dunno, I just can't feel sadness really because, despite the fact that he was a real person and there are people out there without a father and husband now, it's just not affecting me. That kind of thing happens every day((not the sting ray bit, the no father/husband bit)) and if I felt bad for every time that happened, I'd be pretty miserable. Plus I don't have many emotions, and the ones I do have are hard to surface.

Heh, this same exact conversation happened in my game today. He was a great guy, and I can't imagine how his wife is going through with it...
I do have to play Devil's Advocate though; you care that he died, but what if it was some random person who got stung, such as the person killed 2 hours before him in the EXACT SAME SITUATION. He wasn't a television icon, so his death is not nearly as exobitant. Just some food for thought, people.

Eh. Iunno, anyone that pokes at angry animals is just asking for death.
I can't feel sorry for him because I'm me. Theres only three people that can really get me to show any emotion besides anger. =|
He's dead, just one less mouth to feed.

I was so, so sure his death was going to involve falling down the stairs or something equally innocuous. The news was saying he was likely dead before they even got him out of the water, so at least he didn't suffer very long.

I feel compassion for every person that dies. Icon or not. Unlike a lot of people I have actually seen a person die. even though it wasnt on the news and I didn't know who it was, didn't mean I was going to be like... Cool that person died... Or It is about time that person died.

I don't think it's cool. I'm just not suprized that he died. I mean, he did a lot of dangerous stuff.
And Spammich, death doesn't really affect me much anymore. My kneighbor commited suicide and I asked the ambulance to move so I could get my car out of the driveway. I'm a cold, heartless bitch, you know that. ^_^
