Okay... did some research, and there's mama-cat, papa-cat, and three kittens. Mama-cat is named Duchess, Papa-cat is Thomas O'Malley, Black kitten is Berlioz, Orange kitten is Toulouse, and the white kitten is Marie.
Berlioz is funny because he was a french composer, Hector Berlioz, who wrote, most notably, Symphony Fantastique, in which an artist, poisoned by opium, falls in love with a woman. He has a dream that he's killed her and is sentenced to die for the crime.. the passage 'March to the Scaffold' is famous, and also gruesome--you can actually 'hear' his head rolling down the stairs. Then he has an opium dream of Hell, being taunted by his beloved and witches and ghouls... its pretty trippy.
Toulouse-Lautrec baaasically painted the Moulin Rouge paintings, and that was his thing. Marie, I have no idea where from.
But yes. ^_^ Fun names for cute kitties.

It depends on what sort of cat, I suppose. Not some sad cur on the street, no. But a house cat? A pampered house cat? Oh yea. *nods* I'd be reincarnated as an overweight calico any day.

O'Malley ain't they daddy- he is just the awesome cat who shows up and takes over the roll. I remember that. I also remember the mouse, Roquefort, and that really creepy boney kneed lawyer the old lady had. On the note of singing cat movies- Gay Purr-ee? You've gotta love Judy Garland playing an uncultured country cat loose in Paris.
Jean Tom: Oh, it's such a big ocean, Robespierre... Bigger than the whole world... Robespierre: You gotta look at it differently, Jean Tom. Why, it's only little drops...

I'd want to be a pampered, pretty, dangerous-looking Egyptian Mau. Or something cute. A dolphin, maybe? Fwee.
Or a FERRET!
