Yci needn't have turned his head to face the woman, he saw her perfectly out of six facets. But Yci preferred to give people what they were used to, which was not him, in any aspect. The dark-skinned fellow turned his head, the catgirl taken in in all of his facets.
"Meat and bread, please. And a pitcher of water. Ah--" He paused, as if remembering to add something important, "And don't skimp on the portions please, I'm a growing boy."
His face had stayed serious, despite his little age joke. Yci was on a job, and he couldn't afford to give his prey a fighting chance, or a false sence of hope. By the time he had ordered, his pendant had started to calm, swirling back and forth as if in a pace. Finally, He thought to himself, Took long enough to break you. I hope to see what you can do today.
He smelt a faint odor of cabbage, and heard a muffled bang. He raised a thin black eyebrow, then lifted his hand to his hood, pushed it aside enough to see almost behind him, and shook his finger in his ear. A small swamp rat, one of the hundreds of races of rats from his homeland, bit onto the tip of his finger, squeeking in protest. The thing's long sharp teeth were more than enough to pierce through his thick hide, and he quickly flicked it from his finger all the while watching the midget from other facets. As soon as his ear bussiness was conducted, the swamp creature pulled the hood back over his head, keeping it back enough to still hide his ears and not hinder his vision.
