The world was hazy at first. Colours lined up with shapes, blurring their edges enough to make her sick - she closed her eyes. The pain came only moments later, exploding from her side, her head, her back. Skye bit her lip, tears leaking from her eyes. She flexed her fingers, pins and needles slowly dissipating, allowing her to move bit by bit. When she attempted to sit up, pain flared again in her back, and she cried out. It was several minutes more before she could pull herself to a sitting position, and even the slight weight of her body was agony on her tailbone. But she was upright, able to investigate her other injuries more fully. Her mind was coming back in pieces, and she began to understand her location. How she'd come to be in the...pantry...of an unknown ship was a mystery, as was the whereabouts of everyone else. Gently, she began to pull out what bits of her kit remained. Her needle and thread - good - and a handful of leaves to salve her wounds were all that remained. She looked around the cramped space, and smiled as well as her bruising face would allow. Reaching up behind her, careful not to shift her lower body, she grasped a thick cork, and pulled. Whiskey poured out at an alarming rate, and she hurriedly grabbed a bowl and (dumping out the apples) placed it beneath the spout. Removing the nail was another matter entirely. She winced as she fingered the tacky, almost dry wound, and, finding the protruding head, ripped it from her side, dropping the rusty metal beside her. She screamed, and bit down on one of the apples to silence herself. Her vision greyed, but she remained conscious, very still, as the blood trailed sluggishly out her side. She moved for the whiskey, teeth still clenched in the apple, and poured it on her wound. This she did twice, needing to replace her teeth in the apple again after each. She shifted absent-mindedly, and the burning overtook her once more. When she woke again, weak grey light trailed in from an unknown point in...was that a door? She grimaced, doubting any welcome to be fond. 'Once I have finished,' she told herself. As soon as she had stitched her wounds, and dealt with her tailbone as best she could.
((o_0 GOD that's long. Short version: Lots of ouch.))

Was that...smoke? Hitari turns, brushing some hair from her face and walks back on deck. All around her were scorched planks and frantic sailors. Had she truely been that out of it to have missed a fire? Just what was going on here? She sighs bitterly and walks over, examining the damage. There wasnt too much left to be done over here, let alone for her to do.
She was still hungry though.
Hitari takes one last glance at the crew and the ship. Where was the captain anyway? This was a disaster...though she should have probably been awake for this. She sighs bitterly and stands there akwardly, unsure of what she could do.

Saigo walked around the deck shouting orders at the men trying to repair to mast. He hated people touching the carefully sewn canvas that he had repaired on more than one occasion himself. Already the surgeon's assistant had cared for the heavily injured and the dead crew members had already kissed Davy Jones in makeshift coffins tossed to the waves. The last thing saigo needed was an outbreak of plague from rotted corpses.
His eyes scanned the deck his eyes examining the blistered deck and a sigh of annoyance escaped his lungs when a man fell through the most damaged portion. His eyes glanced over to the girly Hitari. " Hitari," he said walking over to her, he placed an arm around her and pointed at the new gaping hole, "Go fetch boards and nails... Then you can start repairing that hole."
He could tell by the looks of her that she had missed the entire ordeal and now she had to contribute. Saigo had to get Trey back.

Delano watched as the Truthless was left behind as the Evangelion crept into the fog. "I should hurry, I know Trey's first mate from an earlier ordeal and it won't be long until they will be after us on that god foresaken ship."
The Truthless was now unladen of cargo and men, so Delano knew that they would have more nauts of speed than his warmaiden. He walked slowly towards his cabin and opened the door which creaked menacingly as he did so.
"Hello Captain Trey, I'm happy to see that you are up... Let's not take too much time to talk," He said in his cool deep voice. He unlocked the cabinet on his desk and pulled out a black case, which he promptly set on the table next to his prisoner its contents jingly in a horrifying manner within.

((The Naval ship has a name now. It is the Evangelion, like it or not, ships are unlucky without names.))

((hey she's not girly...)) Hitari blinks, gazing up to whomever had just touched her. Oh, it was just him. She smirks up to him before glancing back over to the hole. "I must be a heavier sleeper than I thought eh?" she giggles slightly before pulling herself from his grasp and turning about once. "Aye I'll get on tha'..." she replies to him, heading off to fetch supplies. She smiles to herself, breathing in the morning air deeply and sighing with relief. It really wasn't such a bad day. But at sea that could change in an instant...
Soon retrning with an armful of planks Hitari looks about briefly. She sighs and drops her load near the hole before pulling a nail from inbetween her lips among several. From her back pocket she withdraws a hammer and kneels down, brushing some blonde locks from her face. Stupid wind.
After about 10 minutes or so the hole was securely patched up and she brushes her hands on the side of her pants. That wasnt so hard. She smiles in satisfaction before feeling her stoamch rumble for the second time today. Oh yeah, she had gotten distracted...She sighs and begins to walk away from the hole, she should probably wait a tad longer, there was obviously more important things to do now. Stupid conceince.((sorry bad spelling...I'm pretty sure))

(GIRLY! XP))
Saigo was tired of all the y-chromosome defecient people on the crew, Skye was enough, he trusted female intuition when it came to vital care. When it came to blunt force and strength, well that was another thing. He tied his hair in a knot at the back of his neck because the wind was picking up and blowing the ebon locks wildly around him.
"Siago! The sail 's tied down now," one of the mates called down from the rigging.
"Okay," Saigo aid pulling on gloves over his hands, he would have to steer the beaut of a ship and Trey didn't like anyone touching his precious helm, not even his first mate.
"Pull in the anchor, lets be off so we can fetch our dear captain," Saigo yelled as the wind almost drowned out his voice. The ship groaned as he placed his hand on the spokes of the wheel, she was showing her dismay, It's okay, you'll be in his hands soon enough, just settle for me until then.

((*sniffle* ^^ ) Hitari blinks and leans against the edge of the ship, looking to the water around their ship. It seemed things were begining to get back in order. She sighs softly, thoughts drifting to her father. Things seemed so much easier when he was there...maybe she wouldnt be on a ship at all. She shuddered at the thought. Glancing around a small smirk plays across her lips. It felt so good. She stretches widely and notices that they were once more moving so she makes her way over to Saigo, looking up to him with a slight smile "Anythin else ya need me ta do in particular or should I jus' help the rest o' the crew?" she asks. She glances at the mast briefly before looking back to him, blast her short attention span.

Saigo looked down at her and shrugged, "Do what needs to be done is all I have to say. Go help Cooky down in the Galley."
Saigo reached for his spyglass and found that it wasn't in its proper place on his belt, "Ah, shit. Go get my spyglass first though mate. I'll be needing it after the fog."

Hitari grins and turns on her foot, walking down the steps to search for a spyglass. She hums a tune under her breath, walking back to the main deck.
She supposed it was probably on the ground somewhere..She brushes some hair from her violet hues once more and begins her search mission
This was insane. It had to be somewhere. It didnt fall off the boat did it? She bites her lower lip and swears under her breath, she probably looked like an idiot now. The boat swayed once more under her feet and something hit her foot. She blinks, looking down with pure loathing at the spyglass. She sighs, stooping over to pick it up before making her way back to Saigo. She thrusts it toward him before turning and walking to the galley before he could say anything to her, not that she would hear him anyway she was too busy cursing herself for being so stupid.

Saigo thought about locking Hitari in the prisoner hold, but decided to ignore her disrespect. It would be idiotic to do so anyways, he had to stay focused, the truthless ws almost completely immersed into the fog. A strong gust blew Saigo up against the helm and the ship was completely enveloped.
"How do we know which way they've gone Saigo," one of the crew asked.
"The ship know the way to her bonnie lad," Saigo said, feeling another wind at their back.
