Pelstos frowned, this didn't seem like fun, but he knew that it was something that needed to be done. "I've never taken the time to explore this realm, so I guess now's a good a time as any."
Nick raised one finger, about to speak, when pelstos cut him off, "No worries good friend, I shall be fine! I'm Pelstos, remember?"
With that, the priest turned south, deciding to search where the beast had come from. Much to his suprize, a horse was aproaching at an alarming rate through the southern valley pass. The rider was clad in white, with black hair that had a white streak down the center of it. "Haishin?"
The demon stopped Nick's horse as he arrived at the tavern, "What the fuck was that?" Haisin asked as he dismounted in annoyance, turning to Nick.
Before Nick could speak, the sky ... blinked. In the split second where it had changed, the faces of ten thousand monsters and demons showed themselves to the people in the realm. Nick's eyes grew wide and he tore towards the generator. "Go West... or East. It doesn't matter. I need you to check on the statue!"
A look of confuzion showed on both Pelsos and Haishin's already confuzed faces, but they quickly turned, both in a different direction, and began walking.

Roha halted in mid stride to the Narcie Gate, icy eyes fixed on the usual blue sky. What was that eerie chill she'd felt just then, it had been similar to having a bucket poured over her while someone whispered an incoherent warning. The sky "blinked" as she watched it warily, sounds of confusion reaching her ears from the tavern as others saw the spectacle. Deeming Narcie something worth waiting for, she pivoted on her booted heel and strode back to meet Pelstos as he departed the tavern.
"What in the name of all things sacred was that, Pelstos?" she demanded, her voice harsh not from anger, but confusion and a hint of fear. It was evident she was in a deadly serious mood, as she had addressed the drunkard by his name and not a mock-insult.
((Haku will get his own little post later... when I'll less lazy.))

From the other side of the Narcie gate awaited a figure. She was submerged in the vast amounts of water that this realm was so well known for. Her eyes, slitted and a striking saphire peek above the surface of the water. She could sence someone was approaching. She submerges herself once morewebbed hands and feet keeping her suspended in the cool clear water while her dark blue hair floated about her from all sides. Her skin was a ghostly pale and her garment consisted of a tattered dress, which is more than she could say others of her kind wore. She runs a finger lightly over one of her gills and awaits the newcomer eagerly, it had been quite some time since she had seen another come to her humble home. ((Please forgive me if I did this wrong, not my first time rping, just rping like this. Plus I'm not quite familiar with the layout of the region you described but I gave it a shot...))

((XD How do we Rp that, exactly? Does it go something like this:
Pelstos: Hey, the sky blinked and showed evil monsters. Roha: Bet a certain someone knows all the answers. Pelstos: But I don't wanna ask... Roha: Wanna just go stab some Lag'gars instead? Pelstos: Yes. Haku & Haishin: We weren't part of that chapter... we have to leave now, huh?
Maybe? Possibly? Or we could just create a whole new, completely random threat. Always fun, of course. >.> ))

Pelstos kept walking, his long stride leaving deep imprints and sweeps from his robe in the snow. "The sky blinked." He said matter-of-factly to the demon, who fell quickly into step with him. "We'll be meeting Haishin in a moment," The ex-priest's eyes were fierce and focused, ignoring the piles of unusable depris that was found to the west of the tavern. Soon the drunkard reached the foot of the western-most mountain, the incline doing little to stop his quick pace. Pelstos wove between the trees, the path covered in snow, the only thing showing it's trace being the lack of snow-clad trees. Nick had talked more than Pelstos had ever heard, and so he knew that there was something wrong.. something the humble bartender wasn't telling them. The hour it took to reach the top ended quickly, and Pelstos, more tired than he'd show from the excursion, met up with Haishin at the top, who was waiting nonchalantly for his comrad.
"Well, took you long enough, human," The demon, who ironically trys to hide himself and look human, stated with a bit of a scoff.
"My stamina, no matter how good it is, can not compare to that of a demon," The priest stated, looking at the center of the mountaintop. No trees graced the mountains this high up, and so Pelstos had no reason to believe that they had just gone a wrong way. There was no statue here, nor was there one to be seen down the range. "I think we have a problem." Pelstos gazed south, looking once more for the statue of the ancient who protected this realm.
Haishin made a weary shrug. He had no idea of this statue, never seeing it himself. "Well, I'm still looping like crazy, either way I go. So I don't think there's any harm done."
The figure watched the meeting on the top, eager eyes feasting on living beings once more. A nimble and long-nailed hand clenched and unclenched, waiting for it's moment to strike. All at once, the figures wings shot out from it's body, it's strong legs pushing off of the ground. The sun was blocked for a moment, casting a shadow onto the scene below, brilliant white wings, like those of an angel, spanned beyond the armlength of any man, and as quickly as the figure rose, it fell upon the suprized and unsuspecting Haishin. It landed on Haishin, pinning the skunk-demon to the ground. Blond hair fell to the figure's midback, while the front of his hair only fell to just below his shoulders. He leaned down, brilliant blue eyes staring with fire into Haishin's black ones. The perfect complection of the figure's skin was fluid from head to toe, and the only form of clothing he wore was a pure white, diagonal skirt that fell to mid-calf. The tips of the man's hair touched Haishin's face, and as he opened his mouth, the harsh tone that was heard was one of the most beautiful sounds the skunk demon would ever hear. "You have breathed your last breath, demon of the underworld. You shall no longer feast upon the flesh of those who live in innocence."
Gabriel lifted his right arm, a sword appearing within his grasp, as beautiful as it's bearer. The ancient streched his sword and voice to the heavens for all to hear and see that he would rid the world of one more great evil. "Absum ex is universitas quod tergum ut vestri universitas of umbra! Defaeco is universitas ex is malum!"

((XD So you decided to just keep going with the Gabrial bit?
"The sky blinked." I might have possibly giggled through your whole post because of that...))
Though she could have easily made the trip to meet Haishin in a fraction of the time, Roha opted to remain with Pelstos. If questioned of her motives, she'd make the excuse that she needed the time to think. And thinking--as well as worrying--she did. The sky's recent display bothered her, obviously, but he current fretted centered the the human walking just ahead of her.
'He's slowed down over the years...' she scoffed to herself, 'Though you're no spring chicken yourself anymore.' With a quiet chuckle, she forced herself to focus on the bigger problem, pushing away the uncomfortable information her healing magic had picked up on Pelstos's health. ((He's pretty active for an old guy that drinks so much, eh Trey?))
Still buried in her musings, Roha barely missed colliding with Pelstos once they'd reached their destination. Muttering darkly, she put her accustomed distance between herself and the others as cold blue eyes scanned the mountain tops for any sign of a statue.
She was on the verge of insulting Nick's paranoia when Haishin was attacked by the winged being. How she hadn't managed to pick up his scent baffled her; even now, being a short distance away, she picked up nothing. She pushed that bit of news to the side, forcing her mind to focus on calling upon her fire magic.
But again, nothing. Her magic refused to respond outright. A wary glance was sent to the mysterious man. She got the disturbing feeling she'd be powerless against him. ((Dunno all the details on Gabrial, Trey, but I figured Roha needed some weaknesses. Maybe most demon magic can be canceled by him? Would make him even more superior mightiness.))
((Aww, did you forget about little Haku?))
Though Roha had failed in assisting Haishin, he would not. With a feral growl uncommon for the placid creature, Haku sent his chain-sickle ((not like a popsicle...)) to one particular target. The attacker's blade. If his aim was true, he'd have disabled the weapon and hopefully prevented his master's untimely death. ((Again, dunno what kind of powers Gabrial's weapon holds, so I left it open for you.))

((lol Gabriel's too awesome to not rp that part. And I like the magic thing. How about, Gabriel's so ancient that he's immune to most magics? Actually, I think he'd just be able to block them.))
As Gabriel uttered the last of the latin, the small creature's weapon clanged angrily against his own. Because of the unexpected attack, the ancient dropped his weapon and turned his head to the rabbit, eyes fierce. "So, in my absence demons have overrun this realm. Weak demons with barely any powers, but demons non the le--" Unfortunately for Gabriel, he was caught mid sentance by Pelstos tackling his middrift and forcing him off Haishin.
The skunk demon stumbled to his feet, eyeing Pelstos, who had Gabriel pinned. The ancient struggled not at all, but looked up at the expriest warrily. "You, human, why do you help such beasts?" A questioning air about gabriel's tone gave Pelstos the feeling of power over him, knowing something he did not.
The drunkard leaned down towards the ex-statue's face, causing a small pendant on a chain to slip from the folds of his tunic and reveal it's self, glowing a light green.
((I have to go get my brother from LAX, I'll finish rping later? lol it's like i'm doing it with myself. Except it's my two hottest characters..... AND NO THEY'RE NOT GAY AND THIS ISN'T TURNING INTO YAOI! *eews at the thought*))
