Melon, you make me think of a chapter in Gackt's autobiography. The whole voices thing. It's cool though.
I find it interesting to listen to someone talk and then hear them sing, because I have a lower speaking voice but I can sing... well, I can sing very high in the register. x3 It's interesting to hear the differences though. :3

I'm alto-soprano and I sound like a prepubescent boy. >>

I'm a soprano, but I can hit alto notes if I want. I sound like a prepubescent boy too! Well, unless I want to -not- sound like one, but that takes conscious effort and nyeh. x3

I'm a fan of accents in a general sense- I'm kind of obsessed with voices (most especially those of a lower register). Be it singing, speaking, what have you. I really really dig just listening to vocal expression. *is in complete agreement* also, I is alto. I can't hit high notes :S But my teacher found it amusing about how low I could sing. I've also been told that I have a very nice voice, for just to listen to when I'm talking. It was very odd when I found this out because I'd never even thought about it or had it mentioned to me but was told by like three different people within the hour. I find a lower pitch much more beautiful and nice to listen two. Love listening to men sing especially if they have a deep rich tone. My god. When they redid the song Changes by David Bowie for Shrek, his voice in that is gorgeous!

Bowie in general has a rather enthralling voice. Really. I'm most comfortable in alto- soprano sounds very childlike and soft and it drives me absolutely fucking batty. I think my speaking voice is actually pretty amusing- because I make a lot of noises, pull a lot of accents in regular conversation. My voice is absolutely as active as my hands, and I gesticulate CONSTANTLY.

I use my hands and gestures when talking excessively. I swear put me on mute and you'll still be able to follow the conversation I'm having.

Accents -- I like Scottish accents, and some English ones, for instance Mancunian (from Manchester) ones are amusing.
Singing -- I'm a low alto, and have sung tenor in the past because the alto bit was too high XP

I can't!! My range was growing and i was able to start hitting higher notes but I had to stop lessons about 1.5 yrs ago so i think my range shrunk again.

I'm not exactly able to hit the freakin whistle register but I do a pretty decent soprano. It's just not something I'm comfortable with. =B

I can sing high soprano. Which is weird, because my normal speaking voice is very low. If it were just a half note lower, I'd sound like a guy. Well, actually I kind of sound like one anyway, 'specially when I'm pissed. But I digress.

Which American accent do you have?My Results: North Central What people call the "Minnesota accent." Sounds almost Canadian. You may have even been asked if you were from Canada before. I'm from Saskatchewan...maybe we talk similar to them? XD Who knows.
