La Saint-Jean, fête nationale. Okay, I'll have to admit it, We Québécois love ourselves. So much that we have our own national holiday, despite the fact that we're not even a nation.
June 24th is Québec's day. Great parties everywhere, free french-Canadian music shows (Les Respectables on the Abraham plains this year. Epic shit, I tell ya), fleur-de-lys flags all over the place and local beers flowing more than water. This year, it'll be themed around Québec's cinema, which has spawned marvelous movies in the last two years.
Thus, from today until monday, I'll be celebrating my beautiful province as well as it's culture, language and people. Yay. <3
