You must have banged your head down pretty damn hard if you chipped it.

I must have. I don't know how I managed it, tbh. I didn't even realise I'd done it till i felt the groove.

I chipped my eye on a bottle of lambrini.
I never used to wear a mouth guard for sparring in karate, and we didn't use big gloves either. I feel like I may have gotten a little ripped off.

i chipped one tooth eating mashed potatoes, and another tooth because I was putting a halter on my horse which has a big metal bit that fell and hit me in the face.

I've never chipped a tooth. The worst I've had is a cavity. In fairness though I DID get it drilled without any anesthetic!

yes mashed potatoes. well actually the fork hidden in the potatoes. I missed judged the length of the fork that was hidden.
I started screaming when I saw the needle the dentist was going to stab my mouth with. So I got taken to a specialist and was given a pill to calm me down then some kind of laughing gas which made everything look and feel all white and fuzzy.

try closing your eyes. also ask for numbing cream. Works wonders and you don't feel the needle. just pressure. The drill doesn't bother me. Just the needle/s
i have six SMALL fillings. due to drinking nothing but coke for three years and lack of brushing. also i used to throw up after eating and my stomach acid kinda messed up my back teeth. I've learnt my lesson. Got shit scare at the dentist. i now don't eat sugar. Missed out on Easter... i also have braces. i don't pig out so there's no need to vomit.
So yeah. my kids are going to live of nothing but milk and water. Vegie soup and fruit cups. poor things... i pity them.....
<-- Look i'm a senior member!!! *does happy dance*

needles >:3
I have a specialist dentist because... when I'm angry/people touch my teeth, I bite. HARD. My dentist was like ARGH I R BLEEDING and sent me to some other guy.

I almost punched my dentist when he drilled my teeth. we all laughed (after he took the drill out...)
Nanashi- He always gives me numbing cream, i can still feel the needle. Closing my eyes doesn't work either, i know the needle is there. I don't have a needle phobia, it never used to bother me when i was little. However, in the past few years i've become terrified.

Ya the numbing cream doesn't work to completely take away all feeling. I tried to let the dentist pull out my teeth without the special gas because they told me i was too old for it. The dentist got have of my mouth frozen with the needle but then I just started full out screaming. He looked at me, said "i'm not dealing with this" and sent me home. Half my face was frozen for the rest of the day I'd had two needles jabbed in my mouth and still both teeth that were supposed to be pulled in my head. It was a very unfun and pointless experience.
Agree with fae in that closing your eyes doesn't work when you already know there's a needle coming.

I've never had an injection in my mouth. I pull my teeth out myself if I know something like that is coming. I once sat up for seven hours just pulling on these two totally malformed teeth in my mouth (new ones had grown, the old ones weren't even loose and it was like some crazy hippo teeth) because i had to go to the dentist the next day.
I feel sorry for the dentist who has to give me an injection one day... in fact, i feel sorry for the dentist who has to take the invisible brace out of my mouth. I've had it for 3 and a half years because it hurt so much to put in, I won't let anyone touch it.
