I had mine from like...6th grade to about...um...9th or 10th, I think. And in 5th grade, prior to the braces, I had an expander, which is one of the most painful devices ever.

Aside from the slight chip, I've never had anything done to my teeth ^_^

naoise: so the incisible brace takes longer? Or were your teeth really messed up? lol. I don't really care if people can see them or not. i'm at a point in my life where.. after i get them off i can move and meet knew people. These new people will only know me with straight teeth. Plus i think having straight teeth will help me get a leg in at my dream job. which is a dential assitant.... in Australia you usually only have braces on four 18months. And then the clear... it's not a retainer (because that's the american word...) whatever on all the time but you take it out when you eat and clean... you have that for 18months. so three years all up. i wonder what would happen if you had braces and Ira came along and bit you turning you into a vampire.... you wouldn't really be a threat to anyone with all the metal. lol.

if you bit anyone, it'd beworse. cause notonly would there be teeth marks, but all the scraping from the metalbits. plus, you'd get bits of flesh stuck in them.

My teeth aren't really messed up actually , But my bite is. See while it LOOKS like I have an overbite, I actually don't have any bite, since when my teeth meet at the front they don't meet at the back. It's annoying because for the longest time no dentist or orthodontist could believe what they were seeing.
