Oh man, that lizard queen thing brings back memories. In Grade 10 or 11, one of my best friends grabbed the ends of her green sweater and pulled it out, ran to the top of the forum stairs (at lunch time, when there are a good 300+ people there, as only a quarter of our school would have been there), and shouted that at the top of her lungs. And then ran back down and took her place calmly in our circle.

Speaking of getting beaned with dodgeballs- anybody remember those whirly things? You know you stand between the bars and you convince some asshole to run run run run run and spin you?
I got beaned with a dodgeball, midgoddamnedtwirl. And it wasn't like I was going slow- I couldn't even make out the swing set and all the sudden THUNK.

They've taken all of ours out around here too. And see-saws. And those swings with the metal bars in the front and back that are in the shape of horses.

seriously? they've still got those around me. last time i when on it spun ayy fast and i fell off. I also sat in the swings upside down and fell on my face. that was a fun night...

They replaced all the wooden stuff with plastic here when they discovered the weatherproof thing they put on the wood gave cancer. =D

Everything was metal here... now it's plasic it's easier to break, or melt when it gets hot... and it also stinks like nothing else in the sun...
