Most of the stuff around here is still metal, or at least partly metal. At the big park in town, they put an "inclusive" play area, which includes a lot of low-intensity, non-climbing equipment for kids with disabilities. It's pretty cool. The asphalt is like that bouncy, rubbery stuff (which, by the way, is amusing at 11 at night after lots of sugar).

Yeah--- I think the stuff by my house is mostly metal...there's a junglegym that I've almost broken my teeth on once or twice. Then again, though, I shouldn't have been running on metal in the winter after an icestorm. It was, perhaps, a strategical error.
And yeah, cancer from wood-varnish. But then again, I read somewhere a couple of days ago that a compound in BROCCOLI had the possibility of triggering cancer in some individuals. Right around that point, I basically said 'screw it, we're all gunna die anyways'. I mean, BROCCOLI!?
The air gives you cancer, the dirt gives you cancer, water gives you cancer, the SUN gives you cancer--- and now broccoli? Well, fuck that, guys. >XD

Wow....That's.....sad, really. I want one, though! It's pretty. Then again, I'm a total Disney freak (we're talking I can give you the original release year of pretty much any Disney animated film off the top of my head. I'm a little sketchy on the new ones, CG stuff, and live-action, though).

I was in the same boat with aindel, I thought things like broccoli, vinegar, and apples fought cancer.
Well shit. That being the case, if americans don't eat like pigs and eat healthy stuff, the whole 10% of us will be left O-o.

Clover, you say that like it's a bad thing... *pouts* Apples -do- fight cancer. Something about antioxidants. Broccoli.... well, now I have a reason not to eat it!

Man, I HATE broccoli. Unless its steamed. Then it's the shiznit. You know what I like, and a lot of people really don't, for some strange reason? Spinach. Its how I get my iron--- I don't like eating red meat, because I can taste the blood/iron in it.. Spinach masks the taste of iron (which I always associate with blood), so I like it. Num num. And yeah.. I dunno where I read it, so don't quote me...but I read it somewhere, and had a momentary 'ugh' thing. Though they apparently have now developed a vaccine against cervical cancer. And Aindel--sketchy is scary.

I'm almost anemic, so I love meat... I need iron... and seriously... if we actually grew our vegetables properly with nothing in the water, soil OR in the vegetables that have been put there by modern man, we'd be fine...

I like blood... so meat is a-ok by me. I hate most vegetables, with the exception of corn (on the cob or frozen, cuz canned is just nasty). My roommate makes me eat my vegetables, or she threatens not to feed me again (which is a pretty good threat, considering I can't do much more by way of cooking than throw frozen stuff in the oven). Spinach is okay, though, when it's in salad with tomatoes and feta.

PEOPLE WHO EAT FROZEN CORN ARE FREAKS AND WEIRDOS. DX
My grandma eats corn on the knob like it's bread or something. Whenever we eat at her place? She boils corn during dinner, then feeds it to everyone as dessert.
I really don't like my grandmother, but I love that one habit of hers. Corn is delicious.

Ewww corn. I dislike corn. You feed it to cows, and thats really all its good for. Unless, of course, its roasted in its husk on a coal fire, and then it's alright. Num num.
And ewwww.. I hate the taste of blood, so. Though occasionally, I do get a craving for a medium-rare to medium steak, and then it's alright. I think its when by body's low on iron that I crave the red meat, but as a general rule, I prefer chicken. Unless my mom's JUST cooked steak, and then I sit down, shut up, and eat it. Poppy knows my mom is scary.
