Poppy, my friend Alex says that a corset would make your breasts look more full. =o
I on the other hand think that you should just lose weight and avoid the corset all together. And you should do that surgically. In your lungs...
p.s. when I was young I wanted to play the peaknow.

I am trying to lose weight, but being an apple shape, I will never have a small waist, to honestly tell you, I'm five feet six inches.(167 centimeters for those using the metric system), and my waist is 39 inches around, my bust is only 41 inches around, my ribs are 36 or 39, I'm not sure on that measurement, while my hips are 47 inches. I only recently lost some six pounds fora bizarre reason aside from just not feeling like wanting to eat.

I still think corsets are hot... I don't care waht they do physically to a person.

See, for me, there's corseting, and then there's Corseting. I think corsets are hot. Yes. Awesome. Tight-lacing? Not so much. I love the whole... delicate hourglass figure you can get if you reduce the waist an inch or two. You know, not enough that you suddenly can't breathe and you're urinating your large intestine... but enough that you've got the Silhouette. I would wear a corset, totally. Aindel: HOLYSHIT YES I READ 'THE BLACK SWAN'. I'd always loved the ballet Swan Lake--the music, the story.. it all made me really love it.. but I always did wonder about the character of Odile. Did you know, her story is the only one that remains constant? In the original story, Odette commits suicide and Sigfriend dies to follow her. In others, they jump into the water of the lake together, drown, and are raised to Heaven by the sanctity of their love. In one version, Odette stays a swan. In another, they have a happy ending. But in Every Single Version, Odile's role remains the same--she is always taken advantage of by her father, made to represent Odette at the ball, and is then shafted, and forced to watch this big confrontation, knowing that no matter who comes out on top, its a rock and a hard place for her. For me, The Black Swan was a sort of, "Oh, THIS is what was missing". I love Odile's character, and she just... compared to Odette, who I always thought was a bit of a twit... she just seemed so very real. She sort of..gave a face to my love affaire with the concept of the Black Swan. And holy shit, yes, I'll get right on that design. This'll rock lobster.

I like the happy ending one, just because I'm a sucker for fluff. I'm more familiar with the drowning one, though. I wanted to see it when the Canadian Ballet was doing it when I was in first year, but they sold out really fast. So I went to see The Sleeping Beauty last year instead. And this season they're doing Prokofiev's Cinderella in art deco style. I'm so there! Not only do I love Prokofiev severely (nothing beats Romeo and Juliet's Dance of the Knights), but art deco is one of the coolest art movements out there. So not asking about the lobster.

Yeah, I like the hourglass look as well. But yeah, the super thin thing doesn't really work for me, because then the hips are like BAM! *especially on me*

i agree, the whole supertinywaist is too extreme. it doesn't look natural, and you KNOW it isn't. which takes the sexiness away. =[

They are pretty. You have to cinch a little to make them look right.
