I got my corset in the mail!!!!!!!!! IT looks like this! Annnnnnd! I can reduce 6 inches already! W00T!!! *word to the wise: don't drink more than 6oz in a sitting, it doesn't necessarily make your stomach hurt, but it does hinder breathing .

i am so jealous! it's pretty! i read something a while ago on how to make you own, and it's not that hard to understand, but i wouldn't suggest it to any newbie sewers.

I'm going to learn how to make those... I'm too lazy at the moment though. I like the pinstripes.

Child of fae: I started making one of my own, I got too lazy to finish it . Trey: Thanks! And yes, it does take quite the amount of energy to make one . Clover: 109 doller w/ shipping. Unfortuneately the buisness is folding . Limbowoman: I know, but you also have to get to that tightness before you can displace organs, I'm too fluffy to do such things yet . Bible the rock: I luvs it .

I'm glad. Are you going to wear it over outfits or under them? Hah. Odd question, but ohh well.

I have to make one in Costuming class this year. I think it's supposed to have a theme/actual design concept (so I guess it's the kind meant to wear over stuff, or maybe some people last year just made it that way... I dunno. I haven't gotten the assignment yet), so I might do a swan lake- inspired one, with iridescent white fabric, and feathers, and lace, and sequins....

Thanks. My only problem is that being so specifically themed doesn't exactly make it multi-purpose-wearable. And they're kinda expensive to make (boning alone could break your bank account).

Yeah, they are sadly . That's why I got the black pinstripe, it's almost formal, it's almost work-like, and well, it's really easy to coordinate with. Lots of things go with pinstripe.
