freedom is the ability to shout "THEATRE!!" in a crowded fire.

Does Rufus Wainwright's song "Greek Song" remind anyone ELSE of this comic?

I don't really see it. *tries harder* Maybe a little, like the first verse or so. Hope you feel better.

Here's the lyrics: You who were born with the sun above your shoulders You turn me on You turn me on You have to know You who were born where the sun she keeps her distance You turn me on You turn me on But so does she You who were born there where beauty is existence You turn me on You turn me your body heals my soul You who were born where you shiver and you shudder You turn me on The girl is gone So come on let's go
All the pearls of china Fade astride a volta Don't sew beelines to anybody's hide Save your poison for a lover who is on your side
One way is Rome and the other way is Mecca On either side On either side of our motorbike One way is home and the other way is papa On either side On either side and prepared to strike When I get back I will dream in Barnes and Noble's Oh leave me here Oh leave me where angels fear to tread When I get back I will bleed after my beating Don't leave me here Don't leave me here I'm scared to death
All the pearls of china Fade astride a volta Don't sew beelines to anybody's hide Save your poison for a lover who is on your side
All the pearls of china Fade astride a volta Don't sew beelines to anybody's hide Save your poison for a lover who is on your side

No, sorry, those lyrics don't remind me of the comic at all...

I think it's the medication. I really think it is. That stuff can do weird things to a person. For instance: My already somewhat-hyper friend took cough medicine. She proceeded to chase it with coffee. And sugar. She then laughed at everything as though she was high, and went around saying things like (and this is a direct quote here), "What's ziploc backwards? ....COLPIZ!"

Ummm..... Does anybody read friendly hostility? Well if you don't check out this page.... friendlyhostility.com/d/20070928.htmlIt definitely fits..... Cold medicine doesn't truly affect me at all..... Although this stuff called Theraflu.... The night stuff makes me run marathons..... It's worse than a 5 year old hyped up sugar and caffeine with a little bit of speed mixed in

I dunno about the lyrics, but I had some kind of drug-induced (percocet, morphine or dilaudid I can't remember when exactly this happened) dream that I was at my computer reading the comic and when I blinked I discovered a nurse taking my blood pressure instead. Reality is a fragile thing I tell you what.
