Red pepper jelly with cream cheese is wonderful because you have the nice creamyness of the cream cheese to dim out the burningness of the pepper jelly making it bearably spice and wonderfully sweet. We ran out of red pepper jelly

apparently it is, I've never done it, tend to stick to the normal fruits for jam/jelly but they have juice in them like fruit do.

last year i lit my stove top on fire making raspberry jam. apparently raspberry goop is flammable. I literly had a burning ring of fire on my stove. It was amusing.
