Well, no one else had put anything about my poor little province yet so why the fuzzy not me? NB is the only Officially French and English province. Meaning they have the right to force us to take French class until Gr. 10. Evil maniacs! So we get the joy of having every sign and label with both French and English. Stop/Arret signs are amusing. Other things is we New Brunswickicans like to nickname cities and towns for animals. Moncton is Monkeytown, Sussex is Cow Town (due to the two giant cow statues which sadly have names ), etc. Our tourist attractions include some funky rocks that look like they will fall over any minute (Hopewell) and a backwards river (Reversing Falls) and other such things. And we eat ferns, at least in Southern NB. We call them fiddleheads because they are curled up like the top of violins and such. Supposedly they taste good with butter. What always struck me as weird is the prices. Living in NB is expensive... Milk that comes from a farm across the street from you costs more than the same milk from the same farm in Ontario. Still trying to figure that one out Well! Feel free to add more, I might end up doing the same later...
