Misaki, I am not a kid.
Shadd, I'm not saying cross dressing isn't realistic. I know quite a few cross dressers and transexuals. I'm saying Clyde's excuse for taking his/her (I'm assuming it should be her considering it's cross dressing and not gender dysphoria...at this point.) brother's identity seemed unrealistic to me.
Welcoming messages in general, thank you.

Yay, new member, welcome! And you're *male*! That makes how many guys now? Catching up to the girls, at any rate.

Cale, I never said that you claimed it was unrealistic, you said the reason for it was. I don't really think it is, but everyone's got their own opinions, right? Certain people react to events differently from others, and perhaps that is what caused Clyde to want to 'become' her brother. Clearly, she knows who she is and doesn't feel like most of those with, as you said, gender dysphoria.
However, as I said, different opinions. Right?
Still, welcome. Hopefully we don't scare you off! x3

Well I only got the impression of you thinking I thought cross-dressing in general is unrealistic as opposed to Clyde's reasoning because you said:
Which clearly doesn't have anything to do with Clyde's reasoning, but rather the issue of cross-dressing. So naturally I'd assume you thought I meant cross-dressing as a character trait to be unrealistic.
As for difference of opinions, I'm sorry if you feel like I'm trying to challenge your opinion against mine. I'm not. I just thought my opinion was being misinterpreted because of your response so I was just clarifying myself.

Hey, another guy! You from NY too? It'd be weird if you were o.o lol.
And I think it's part artistic license, part psychosis (meaning that it's part of her trying to make up for the loss of her brother tragically and early by becoming her brother, a Freudian sort of thing)...

Oh, no no no, you misunderstood me. However, that's kind of my fault. I should've worded things correctly. I meant that, if I was in the same position as Clyde, I would probably do the same thing. Mah bad.
Don't feel like I'm attacking your opinion, I'm just sparkin' a conversation. Bad habit of mine, it is. I'll stop now though. Don't want to scare you away from the forum ^^;;

No, I don't feel that way. I am hard to threaten.
I am not from NY. I live in the Toronto area.

Coraline is yes, done by Henry Selic(sp?). They don't say done by the creator of NBC, but the Director of NBC.
Also, I'm from the west coast and go to AN, though not this year folks.
Welcome Cale! I think that Clyde just wanted her brother to keep on living, and maybe she thought that she was a better candidate for death, so she tried to switch who lived and who didn't?
Ah, it's all theories and speculation, it is.
