You mean Elizabeth? I know; it's kind of like skipping, but she kind of only skips with one foot.

Hmm....Has anyone seen Higurashi? My friend showed me it, and I liked it in a sadistic way XP

I've seen bits of it. Fucked up, let me tell you. In a good way.
I was put off a bit by the extremely cutesy art style. But I adore the music, especially the main opening.

@ Blade: vampires are a definite yes. I know of a tone of good vampire novels/series if you want. Black Jewel Series! Go Now READ!!! If need be I will mail you my copies!!! Maybe. They are my children. You would have to sign a contract to return them as they were sent to you....a contract IN BLOOD!! But regardless, read them. If you like vampire stuff then out of the ones i suggested i highly suggest Manga=vassalord. It's new there's only two out ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) but hopefully new soon ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) and novels=lost souls by Poppy Z. Brite. just recently read it after it was recommend by a friend. It's vampire with a very dark feel to it. Kind of hard to explain via internet but it's good. Also if you don't mind romances I shall try to shove on you Sherrrilyn Kenyon's "dark hunter" series. Not vampires per say but vampire-ish take thrown into a mix of a bunch of different gods/pantheons (greek, celtic, made up ones etc.) @ Misaki: You can never go wrong with Neil Gaiman. He is amazing.

Oh, don't worry. Both volumes of Vassalord are mine. I bought that sucker the day it came out.
Why is Johnny so HOT?!
I shall incline to the series you mentioned, but I already found my vampire centered lovechild in Anne Rice's early works, which will forever be tucked in my heart, even if her recent stuff is.....not as great.

twilight was good when i read it in grade 10. I'm frightened that it's going to be too kiddy for me now so I've been avoiding the new books and movie although I own all the books and my sibling has the movie. I'll probably end up watching/reading them all eventually.
anyone seen the movie "blood and chocolate"? it's a werewolf movie that's actually not too bad or cheesy like werewolf movies have the tendency to be.

I read the book Blood and Chocolate, but the trailer for the film looked nothing like the book, so I was afraid to watch it.

No offense to Twilight fans, but I thought it was 'meh'. And when I saw the movie, and saw how they portrayed the 'sparkling skin'...
Well, frankly, I laughed my ass off.
And Light, Anne Rice wrote the Vampire Chronicles, in case you're wondering. Two of them were made into films: 'Interview with the Vampire' and 'Queen of the Damned'. The series is amazing, up till about 'Merrick', where she starts throwing in these Mary Sue like female characters that I hated.
And I was interested in Blood and Chocolate, but I have yet to check it out.
