Douuuublepost~!
I just wanted to add that (uh oh, starting a fight mayhaps?) Tim Burton's Alice and Wonderland looks ridiculous. Ridiculous BAD. I was so glad when I found out about the mini series Alice. I mean really, Johnny Depp just looks silly.

Yes, Tim Burton's Alice does look ridiculous, I haven't heard of the miniseries Alice though, until just now. I'll look it up, now that you reccomend it! ^^

SciFi (oh, wait, "SyFy") Alice miniseries? Oh by far better because of andrew lee potts. so adorable. Loved him in Caffeine. even though it was more of a new story about alice, since they refer to the "Alice of legend"
Tim Burton's alice in wonderland does look silly. Which, in a way, is good. The story is silly and was created for a young girl. however i feel like it's going to receive undue amounts of praise simply for it being by Tim Burton, and starring Depp and HBC. And by undue i mean i feel like depp is going to just be jack sparrow in a different getup. But hey, it might deliver.
However in all my alice books she has brown hair when it's a color photo. Alice Miniseries is brown haired. tim burton's isn't. idk, it just bothers me that everyone seems to just use disney's template of alice.

....*doublepostbump*
finally finally finally watched Tim Burton's Alice.
It was... decent. Wasn't thrilled with Depp's performance, but it wasn't a trainwreck.
However my sister and I got into a huge discussion because, according to the class she took analyzing the Alice books, the two stories about Alice are parodies of Epic Tales. and Tim Burton made Alice into an Epic Tale. So, basically, he did exactly the opposite of what he was supposed to.
Also, the Queen of hearts is from Alice in Wonderland. The Red Queen and the White Queen are both from Through the Looking Glass (and What Alice Saw There). The Red Queen and the Queen of Hearts aren't the same person. (i didn't detest HBC in this role, which is surprising)
