Poison walked slowly through the snow trying to find any form a shelter, so he would be able to get out of the bloody cold. Being a Snake demon it wasn’t very smart of him to be out in this environment, he could vaguely recall passing out in the snow because his blood slowed down due to the temperature. Being cold-blooded was quite an adventure in itself.
A warm glow was emitting from the window of a pub of some sort, Poison lifted his eyes to the sign hung above the door, The Drunken Snake. He grinned to himself, the names of bars always seemed to amuse him, and almost nothing amused him. He opened the door and walked in without looking at the people already present in the tavern. He walked to the table closest to the fire and almost collapsed into the chair.
He wrapped his arms around his torso and noticed that his pendant was glowing a shade of iridescent blue and the figure of a wolf danced beneath the surface of the gem. “Ookami….” Poison whispered to himself, before tapping the jewel so that it would turn back into its usual blood red hue.

Roha takes another long swig (oxymoron!!) of the red wine as she leans her small frame against the bar, icy eyes drifting in relative boredom over the tavern and its few visitors. Her gaze shifted instantly to the door as a tall figure entered. Years as a doctor, as well as the powerful healing magic coursing through her veins, told her this character was not at his healthiest. His scent reaching her highly sensitive nose, she deemed it was the cold doing him harm.
With a quiet chuckle, she glanced at the fireplace and its meager heating source. She focused her mind on the fire, willing the flames to grow in size, bringing far more warmth to the chilly tavern. Turning back to her drink, Roha scoffed to herself, "Cold-blooded Hebi youkai...." ((Hebi youkai= snake demon))

Poison continued to sit at the table trying to stay awake, but eventually his head began to bob and slammed against the wooden slab. He started when his face came in contact with the surface and sat up again bewildered, though he knew exactly what just happened. He turned his head to the bar and glanced at the two persons sitting there. His green eyes passed over the figure in blue, whose wolf ears almost blended in perfectly with… his or her, darkly colored hair.
He turned away again and contemplated before standing up and walking over to the bar sitting five feet away from the closest figure. Poison watched as the kind looking bartender approached him and forced a smile before ordering, “Êðàñíîå âèíî, ïîæàëóéñòà…”
Nick stared at Poison, confused, not having a clue about what he had just said.
Poison mumbled something to himself before talking in a very poor English, with a thick accent, “Wine, äà?”
Nick nodded and reached under the bar a placing a bottle filled with dark liquid on the bar.
Poison nodded at him and handed him a few coins before taking a swig. ((do the swig jig *crappy air guitar solo commences*))

((Oh yea... uhm, Pelstos went to bed a few posts back, Rara-chan! XD ))
Roha glances at Poison as he seats himself at the bar. She feigned indifference at his presence, sipping at her wine and keeping her eyes focused on Nick's dull bar up-keeping--and remaining focused on Nick is a difficult task, as he's the type that the eye finds itself slipping away from quickly.
She ran her fingers through her hair in the pretense of agitation but in actuality brushing locks of hair over her face as well as bringing her headband down to create a shadow over her eyes. This gave her the option of stealing furtive glances of the snake demon, summing him up and making basic judgments of his character based on his appearance.
As Nick approached her with another bottle of wine in his hands, she waved a hand dismissively. "No. I'm not Pelstos. There's no way I could take another bottle of that stuff..." Laughing to herself, she hopped down from the stool, stumbling slightly as the wine affected her balance. She shook her head, gripping the edge of the bar to steady herself. Ugh, I can't believe I'm dizzy after just one bottle of wine! And weak wine at that! Laughing again--because she's a bit of a happy drunk--she walked in a jagged line to the fireplace and began poking at the flames with the fire poker simply for amusement's sake.

Haishin burst through the doors, the look on his face purely of business and seriousness, a look that was often mimicked by the man but never actually a true emotion. Scanning quickly, Haishin spotted Roha by the fire and strode over to her.
"Roha!" The look on his face was uninviting and tense, "I thought I might find you here. I just met up with a man--" Haishin stopped, noticing Poison so nearby. Eager to continue his conversation, the white-clad traveler motioned to an uninhabited table and hoped the wolf oni would join him.
Taking his seat, he gladly welcomed Nick and asked with a not so discrete volume for something hot and non-alcoholic. Haishin softly leaned his staff against the table.

Haku hurries into the tavern directly behind haishin, pausing long enough to close the door quietly and send Nick an apologetic look. As he began to move toward the older man, he froze. Turning his head, he focused on Poison's figure, his gray eyes wide with fright as he fought the instinct to turn tail and run from the predator demon. Clenching his fists in an attempt at maintaining courage, he tore his gaze from the snake and strode stiffly to Haishin's side as his master spoke with Roha.
He nodded in silent greeting to the wolf demon as she blinked in relative surprise at his appearance. Her reaction baffled him somewhat, but he brushed it aside as he moved to pull out three chairs at the table Haishin'd gestured to.

Roha ceased her stabbing of the burning logs to look up at Haishin with annoyance. She was on the verge of a snappy remark about his scent and its ability to travel mass distances when he interrupted her.
She frowned in vague impatience. What did she care about who Haishin met up with. A scathing taunt was on her lips about Haishin "meeting up with men" as Haku appeared behind the white-clad figure. her eyes grew wide with shock at the sight of the snow-rabbit demon. Oh, it was no surprise that he was accompanying Haishin; Haku went everywhere with the man. But, when had the little runt of a boy gotten so damned tall!?
As Haku moved to ready the table, she felt it was only proper to accept the offer of sitting. Plus, she was feeling decidedly dizzy standing at the moment. Muttering darkly to herself about her lack of alcohol tolerance, she sat and focused her attention, chin resting in her hands.
"I'm presuming when you say 'met up with' you're meaning in the innocent, conversational style," she said idly, the slightest twitch at the corner of her mouth revealing her decently good mood.
