I do love ice cream. (BTW, I'm totally quoting you, Jones) Also: Silver, I am to have your babies. ^_^ But I thought you had no uterus?

no no, I am to have them to raise and eat. ^_^
Also, pirates wore what everyone else wore. When they took over a ship, they'd steal those clothes and dress in them, even if they didn't fit. Pirates would even wear clothes that were too baggy, they didn't care.

And konran - It's sad that most people don't look up period costumes. It seems to happen a lot. Some even went to Renfaires wearing....*Shock* RED AND PURPLE. And the ones wearing red said that they weren't Doxies or Wenches. Wearing purple is actually basis to kick you out of some RenFaires. The ones that I have seen that will do this are in New York and Pennsylvania Who? What? Did I say something? Oh well. Go NYers! We are elitists.

Sorry konran, mistook you for clover. (And yes we are. Whoo-hoo for Dutch, Irish, and English immigrants!) Anyway, Commoners to the RenFaires on NY and Penn. are banned from wearing purple, as all the rules from the Medieval era apply inside the grounds. And way back when, only the queen was allowed this colour, as it was the colour of royalty. And anyone mimicking Royalty without being Royalty, Royally pissed Royalty off. While red is allowed, back then it denoted you being a ho.

Ah, okay. So the rules did hold. I figured the purple was for that reason, it being the royal colour, royalty and clergy and whathaveyou... the red I also figured, but heh.
Yeah, thanks for clearing that up for me... always good to have confirmation---do you go to a lot of Renfaires?

Zirbit.
You don't need to tell us this which has become monotonous.
In my opinion, laws make crime worse. Seeing as alot of people have the mentality that: "Laws/Rules are meant to be broken."
No, unfortunately I don't, we have one held in Tuxedo NY, and one Someplace in Pennsylvania. You see, me and two other people were going to go in costume, so we all did research, and that's one of the things that we found.
