I'm totally going to be one for a Halloween party I'm going to this year, and I look pretty sexy, I must say. Sadly, there were no vampirate costumes available at the store.

Anybody got any suggestions for pirate make-up?



And what is everyone else doing for Halloween? If you have pictures, you should post them.

Why don't you go all chim-chim-cheru and clean your chimeny. That should make you dirty enough to pass for a pirate.

Mhmm, I with you on that costume. (I'm getting too old to be dressing up, but it amuses me ever so) Uhm, rub some ashes on your face & clothes. I'm not too certain on makeup, heh. I look mighty sexy in my costume as well. And oh, yesyes, I will be adding some vampire teeth to my costume. I know. I'm a freak.

Well, my friends are throwing this party and they say costume is required to get in, so we have to dress up. I think they just wanted an excuse to buy really slutty costumes. Because I know for a fact that yes, they all have really slutty costumes.


Psh. Realism is overrated. I don't want to look like a real pirate. I want to go for the sexy, I'm-not-really-a-true-pirate-Pirates-of-the-Caribbean-type look. I can't decide what color eyeliner, eyeshadow, or mascara to use, and I can't decide if I should do anything along the lines of lipstick or lipliner and whatnot.

At least, that's what me and a couple of friends did the year before Vampirates started. Nobody really got it, though. :(

I don't go out for Halloween any more, but we did have an anime/Halloween party on the weekend, and I was L from Death Note. (I think there will be pictures?)

There should totally be a Halloween thread, if anybody feels like sharing their costumes! :3 As for pirate make up... I dunno? Dirt? Eyeliner? Lots of scars?

Historically, pirates were stinky from bad hygene, thus, were stinky, and missing teeth. But, the 1600-1700's, everyone was really stinky, and had rotting teeth.
Now, according to your rank, you would be wearing eyeliner, and non-rag-like clothing.
But if you bought a costume, you are more than likely not to have a captain's position.(Coming from the fact that I have never seen one.)

Unfortuneatly, I'm not getting dressed up this year. My sister and I had the origional plan to get dresssed up as two black cats, but we never made/got tails and ears. Granted, if we do still have the chance, I'd like to.
And now we have a third person, so we'd have three black cats instead.
And I want a purple collar if I do get dressed up, but I might have to wear a black one.
(This is a big jump from icky looking things like: Witch, Vampire, Corpse, Carrie, and a soulkeeper. All required me to look like death it's self.)

I'm going to a party and i have a costume already./ I bougt it, i was growing out my beard agian and I was gonna be a lumber jack, but i juts bought a skull and robe from Wal-Mart instead. I have crappy pictures now, but I'll put up better ones later.
Anyweay, I have little advise for your costume, just weaqr something loose and use black eye-liner.

I'm gonna stay home and watch The Twilight Zone marathon that will most likely be playing on the SciFi channel. Even though they're really old and kind of suck I still love them. They're really thought provoking.

You know why the new The Twilight Zone that came out a few years ago didn't work? Because we have all that shit for REAL now! What else are you going to imagine? Imagination is dead and I blame technology.

But I love my lappy too much to be angry at technology for limiting human creativity. <3

I was just thinking this could be used as a Halloween topic, but it'd be better to have an official one.

I watched a Twilight Zone marathon once one summer when I was "babysitting" (what was the kid doing? We'll never know).

I'll be chilling at home for actual Halloween. The party isn't till the 4th because of scheduling issues and other parties and such. And I still need shoes for my outfit. My friend has some sweet high-heeled black boots that would go perfectly, but she's like 5ft tall and has small feet. I'm going to have to ask my mortal enemy if I can borrow her strappy shoes that tie up around the calves.

I don't think I'm going as anything for Halloween. I might put some wounds or black eyes....may be leper lips.....
With a large amount of purple and green eye shadows, accompanied by red paint, looking like you are fresh out of the witness protection program is easy!

One of thease halloweens, I think I'll try to confuse people by looking like neither gender.
