Maybe it doesn't count while she's still in the Overworld, and has to be reinstated in the Underworld first?

-shrugs- Unless I sense something generally people scare me more than figments of my imagination.

I had a recurring dream about a scary scary green fella. Nothing has come close to scaring me as much as he did..does. Even the pale man pales in comparison. (my puns are awesome)

Snakes. I usually end up staying up for the rest of the night after having a dream about snakes. Spiders, too, but they're not quite as bad.

one of my friends is arachnaphobic... Also, it occurred to me that the Pale Man is a creature of the Underworld, right? And Ofelia is technically also the Princess Moanna... so isn't it possible she's his de facto ruler? the pale man was banished to the hall. it says that on the special features disk, too. it's under the comics thingy...

I also hate spiders, but I don't have nightmares about them.

Oh.... I used to be afraid of spiders, really, really afraid.. but about a week ago, this very chubby spider took up residence in my jacuzzi bathtub, and didn't move. And then the next day there was a little floating bubble of almost-transparent white stuff. The next day, the spider still hadn't moved, and the bubble was a little bit bigger.
Its been a week, the spider still doesn't move alot, when she does, she's slow and lethargic, and the bubble she's guarding is getting larger. So, I dunno. Normally, I'd spray a spider or a centipede with chlorine, but I haven't been able to do that to Charlotte. She's being such a good mum and guarding her babies, so I can't kill her---or them. So, I guess once she dies, I'll just put the eggs in a little cup and take them outside, and let the eggs hatch outside.
